About

Born in Hawaii and raised in D.C, William Carrero hails from a tight knit family that would shape him into the man he is today. Growing up, William would sit with and watch the women of his family as they styled their hair. “It always amazed me how changing your hair can give  a whole new look, attitude and energy. The way people could change their hair and embody a new energy. How the outside look can change how you feel about yourself.”

This initial fascination with the power of transformation would prove to be formative for William as he set out to pursue a career in Hair Styling in Miami, where he completed his training at the Aveda Institute. It was during this time that William began working at the Oribe Salon, focusing on celebrity and model clients.

As William’s career grew, so did his ambitions and he soon found himself in New York, working for the prestigious brand Privé (formerly Garren New York). He would go on to style campaigns for brands such as Bloomingdales, The Belk, Macy’s, Prada, Charlotte Tilbury and Coach and was featured in publications like Italian Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar and Ocean Drive.

William is currently working with private clients, choosing to focus on ensuring that their entire client experience and styling is beyond their expectations.

“There’s no better feeling than the end of a service when everything is done and the person who walked in isn't the same person leaving. They’re happier, more optimistic and you’ve made them feel elevated… that’s the best part!”
